Newbie Trying to Make 3D Object

Hi All,

I have made 2.5D objects from aluminum using my Tormach 1100, but nothing fancy. I am looking for assistance to make high speed trolling lures like this from Duran's Fishing Products. This is vastly more complex than what I have done before and I would really appreciate some tips to get me started. I am unlikely to buy any expensive software, but don't mind switching emails to get free trials of something like Fusion 360 for the time it takes to build a proper model. Thanks in advance!

Also please direct me elsewhere if there is a better forum for this sort of question.

You buy it outright - no subscription required, and your models are your own, not up in a cloud somewhere.
