What MW laser to mark stainless steel?

I am new to laser cutting and am looking to mark/engrave a QR code onto food grade stainless steel. I want the QR code to be black on the surface so it is easy to scan/have contrast against the metal. How powerful of a laser would I need to accomplish this? Is a laser even the best option for this? Thanks.

what you need is 10W - 25W usually doesn’t matter if the laser will be industrial grade made for working in dusty harsh environment, so the contaminant and dust particles will not get into marking head and inside onto mirrors.
